Stephen W. Donelson
Stephen Donelson is a shareholder and managing director of Donelson Ciancio and Goodwin, P.C., and leader of the Transactional Group, which includes the Business, Corporate and Securities, Real Estate, and Estate Planning teams. Mr. Donelson applies highly insightful strategies in the areas of: Business Law; Corporate and Securities Law; Mergers and Acquisitions; Taxation; and Real Estate.
Steve's business practice specializes in planning, partnership, and governance-related transactions. His corporate clients range from start-ups to large companies in the banking, healthcare, biotech and pharmaceutical, commercial transportation, manufacturing, real estate development, and financial services industries, to name a few.
His experience includes evaluating, structuring, and negotiating a wide range of commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, private equity and venture capital opportunities, lending transactions, private placement of securities, debt financing, and real estate transactions.
Steve was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1991 and the U.S. Tax Court in 1994. He received his B. A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1983, his M. B. A. in 1990, his Juris Doctorate (J. D.) from the University of Denver in 1991, and his Master of Laws (LL. M.) in 1992.
Steve started his practice in Denver in 1992, and since then, has committed himself to attracting, developing, and retaining an ever-increasing pool of outstanding legal talent with whom to serve the community.
