
As a student, Jamie was actively involved in the law school as a research assistant and the Research Editor for the North Dakota Law Review. She was also actively involved in the school’s moot court competition.
Jamie worked as a law clerk for a firm in Grand Forks, North Dakota before starting an externship at the North Dakota State’s Attorney’s Office. Jamie then worked as a law clerk for DCG in 2007 and 2008. In 2008, Jamie passed the Colorado Bar and joined the legal team at DCG as an attorney.
Jamie practices primarily in Family Law, with experience in divorces and separations, allocation of parental responsibility actions, adoptions, family law appeals; and protection orders.
Jamie also has experience in appellate practice, including appellate brief writing, and has argued before the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Publications/Presentations: Co-authored "Modifying or Terminating Maintenance Based on Co-habitation", Colorado Lawyer, June, 2009. Presented a Continuing Legal Education seminar of the same name in February, 2010.
