Congratulations to Jamie Rutten, Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C.'s newest shareholder!
Rutten served as the immediate past President of the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association (ABBA) and practices as a family law attorney with CCB.
Rutten joined the firm in 2008, after attending University of North Dakota School of Law where she served as the Research Editor for Law Review. Jamie focuses her practice in the area of family law, including divorces and legal separations, allocation of parental responsibility actions, child support modifications, adoptions, paternity actions, and protection orders. Jamie specializes in complex child custody disputes and family law appeals, including appellate brief writing and oral argument before the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Rutten has long been involved in Colorado's various bar associations serving most recently as the President of Adams/Broom field Bar Association (ABBA) in 2014-15. Currently, she sits on the Colorado Bar Association Family Law Section (CBA FLS), Executive Council, since 2014, Metro Volunteer Lawyers (MVL), and was most recently appointed to the Bench Bar Committee for Adams/Broomfield Bar Association by 17th Judicial District Chief Judge Patrick Murphy. She has volunteered with Colorado and Adams County Regional Mock Trial, Family Tree, Commerce City's Teen Court Program, and Metro Volunteer Lawyers (MVL).
Since 2013, she has also been recognized by her peers in Colorado Super Lawyers, as a Rising Star in Family Law, 2013 - 2015.
