Niceta E. Bradburn

Of Counsel

About Niceta

Niceta Bradburn is an Of Counsel Attorney at Ciancio Ciancio Brown, PC.  Her current law practice focuses on dependency and neglect, dissolution of marriage, parental rights allocation, grandparent visitation, adoption, guardianship, and child advocacy.  She is a Guardian ad Litem (GAL), Counsel for Youth, Child Legal Representative, Child and Family Investigator (CFI), and Parenting Coordinator / Decision Maker (PC/DM).

Niceta has been recognized as the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Barry Glasgow Award-winner for Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) of the Year.  And Colorado Best Lawyers in America for family law and juvenile work.  She currently serves as a Board Member for Raise the Future, Sportswomen of Colorado, and as a member of the Foundation for her children’s school.  She is also the current President-Elect of the Irving P. Andrews National Inn of Court.

Niceta received her bachelor’s from the University of Dayton, where she played Division I basketball, volleyball, and ran cross-country.  After spending years working with children in wilderness therapeutic programs and educational experience programs, she moved to Colorado to earn her Juris Doctorate from Sturm College at the University of Denver.

During her time at law school, she interned for the Attorney General.  In this time, she also completed her clinic work with the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center, establishing her focus on children early on.

As a Guardian Ad Litem, a court-appointed figure who represents the legal interests of the child exclusively, she is often appointed in complex disputes between parents. Her specialized training ensures that a child’s voice is heard, especially when they lack the knowledge to voice their needs on their own.

She has also worked as a Child/Family Investigator (CFI) uncovering every factor and detail relevant to a child’s needs. She even has spent her time volunteering for adjudicated children, working as a therapist in a wilderness camp designed exclusively for juveniles.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her own four children and cheering them on from the sidelines!  As a family they love to volunteer and hike, enjoying the beauty of Colorado.
