Karen Bath — Receptionist

Karen joined the Ciancio Ciancio Brown team in July of 2010. She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and is a graduate of North High School. Karen is a people person and has been doing receptionist work for 15 years.

She has been married to her husband for 33 years and loves spending time with her 3 children and her 10 grandchildren. Her free time is often spent watching them all play sports ranging from gymnastics to football! She is also strong in her Faith and loves traveling and doing volunteer work.


Lori Ella — Client Relations Administrator/Marketing Development

Lori joined Ciancio Ciancio Brown (CCB) in August of 2014. She was born in Minnesota where she raised her family and enjoyed a 21-year career in law enforcement as an emergency police dispatcher, reserve police officer, and community service officer before relocating to Colorado to become the evidence technician for the Lafayette Police Department. Just prior to coming to CCB Lori spent six years as a judicial assistant and courtroom bailiff for the Denver County Court. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

Lori is the Client Relations Administrator and performs marketing development for CCB. She conducts all intakes with potential new clients. Lori provides each caller with empathy, professionalism, and focus, and is accomplished at evaluating inquiries and offering a personalized response.

Lori’s volunteerism, awards, and recognition include:

  • Appointed by Colorado Governor Ritter in 2009 and reappointed by Governor Hickenlooper in 2013 to Colorado’s 17th Judicial District Judicial Performance Commission
  • Lori is passionate about her faith, family (three daughters, six granddaughters, and a favorite grandson), animal rights/adoption, environmental issues, crossword puzzles, poker, political campaigning/voter registration, and Andrea Bocelli.

Judita Hughes — Paralegal

Judita joined Ciancio Ciancio Brown in 2019 as a paralegal from the expert witness and forensic accounting firm, Zeeb and Company where she was an associate and the office manager from 2014 to 2019. After graduating with a degree in Paralegal Studies in 2012, she worked as a paralegal in Chicago, performing all manner of paralegal tasks for attorneys focused on civil litigation, personal injury, insurance, and corporate defense until 2015, when she returned to Denver. She enjoys the opportunity litigation provides her to work with her colleagues at Ciancio Ciancio Brown in serving their clients.

In her free time, Judita enjoys both Colorado and travel. In the winter, snow is for cross-country skiing. In the spring and summer, the Rockies are perfect for hiking and biking. When in Denver, she enjoys art shows, spending time with her family, cooking, dining out and the DCPA. All year round, Judita and her family enjoy fostering rescue pups.


Stacy Lewis — Paralegal

Stacy joined CCB in December of 2006. Stacy was born and raised in Colorado. After graduating from Horizon High School in 2000, Stacy attended Front Range Community College while working full time. Stacy acquired a position with a family law attorney as a file clerk, while working on her general studies with a focus in business. Stacy quickly advanced into a legal assistant position, followed by a promotion to Paralegal. As she developed her skills in the legal field, Stacy found that it was her true calling, and transitioned her studies to Paralegal Studies, and obtained her Associates Degree of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies, her Paralegal/Legal Assistant Certificate and a Management Basics Certificate.

Stacy provides paralegal support to shareholders Gene Ciancio and Loren Brown in a variety of areas, including managing calendars, case management, trial preparation, and other various duties involved in civil litigation, personal injury, and criminal law matters. In addition to her assistance on case related matters, Stacy also assists both attorneys in their positions on various boards and associations. Stacy prides herself on the reliability and trust both her managing attorneys have in her by being detail oriented and providing exceptional service to clients.

Outside of the office, Stacy loves to run, especially in races for a cause. Stacy also cherishes her time spent with her teenage son, as well as her family.


Yvette Minjarez-Mueller — Executive Assistant

Yvette Minjarez-Mueller joined the CCB team in October of 2018. She is a family member to the Ciancio’s and she joins us with a degree in biology, which allowed her to create and develop the marine invertebrate exhibits at Westminster’s famous Butterfly Pavilion. For the past 9 years she has taught kindergarten.

Yvette is starting a new career in the legal field as a staff administrator for the firm. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband watching her amazing teenage kids do what they love most. Her daughter, Lexi, is a national bound hockey player this year and if she’s not in rink she’s in a theatre watching her son, Alec, entertain audiences either acting or performing magic.


LaNette Nestor — Paralegal

LaNette joined the CCB team in February of 2019. She was born in Sidney, Nebraska and moved to Brush, Colorado within her first year. She spent her early and adolescent years growing-up in Brush and graduated from Brush High School.

LaNette returned to Sidney, Nebraska and attended Western Nebraska Community College. She received an Associates of Arts Degree in Computer Science receiving certifications in business, marketing, and accounting. While attending college and raising three beautiful daughters, LaNette worked full-time at Cabela’s Corporate office as a pre-press color separator and donations coordinator. In doing so she had the pleasure to work first hand with President and Owner, Jim Cabela, regarding various donations for organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and National Wild Turkey Federation, to name of few. This only increased LaNette’s passion for the outdoors. Fishing, camping, shooting, and riding trails in the Razor throughout the mountains are some of her favorite adventures.

LaNette comes to CCB as a Certified Public Notary for the State of Colorado with 17 years of law experience. The first 12 years specializing in family law, criminal, traffic, and personal injury. The last 5 years were in workman’s comp, probate, and insurance defense.


Ginnissa Pettinger — Senior Paralegal

Ginnissa joined the CCB team in 1998. She was born and raised in Colorado, receiving her Paralegal Studies Degree from Front Range Community College and serves as the firm’s Senior Paralegal.

Ginnissa is responsible for all phases of litigation support for personal injury cases including; drafting court documents, discovery and discovery responses, factual investigation and legal research, case management for document-intensive cases, and trial preparation, and support.

In 2007, Ginnissa received the Adams Westminster Bar Association Paralegal of the Year Award, an award that Ginnissa considers an honor in her career. None of Ginnissa’s accomplishments will compare to the one she fought the hardest for in 2014…becoming an ovarian cancer survivor!

Outside the office, Ginnissa enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. She is very active in her communities activities and enjoys running and traveling.


Alison Schneider — Paralegal

Alison joined CCB in February 2019 with over ten years of legal experience, primarily in civil litigation. She provides paralegal support to Leslie Balten and Kyle Kreischer.

Alison was born in Miami, Florida and grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs. Throughout her career, Alison has worn many hats including office manager, legal secretary, and legal assistant. She strongly believes in fostering a team environment with her coworkers to produce the best results for their clients.

In her free time, Alison enjoys hiking in the foothills with her Australian Shepard mix, Beattie, and going on road trips into the mountains.
