About Monica
Monica A. Huber is an Associate Attorney at Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C., where she is a dedicated member of the firm’s Family Law Team. She represents clients in a wide range of domestic relations matters and is committed to guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging times and transitions.
Monica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from Texas Tech University in 2022, where she developed a strong foundation in political systems and legislative processes. Monica was the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. During her undergraduate studies, she competed in Moot Court and was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Honor Society.
Monica went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2025, where she was awarded the Crimson & Gold Scholarship. Throughout law school, Monica focused her academic and practical training on family law and military/veterans law. She interned with the Denver District Attorney’s Office in both the Family Violence Unit and the Digital Evidence Unit, working on cases involving domestic violence, intimate‑partner abuse, child abuse, and child sexual assault. She also served as an extern with the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project, assisting Veterans and current Service Members in resolving family law matters including divorce, maintenance, property division, allocation of parental responsibilities, and relocation.
Monica joined Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C. in 2024 as an intern and law clerk, where she gained hands‑on experience in family law and domestic relations. Her work with the firm solidified her passion for advocating for families and helping clients navigate emotionally complex family law issues. After graduating and successfully passing the bar, Monica transitioned directly into her role as an Associate Family Law Attorney with the firm.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Monica moved to Colorado at a young age and has considered it home ever since. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has also traveled to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, every summer since childhood and looks forward to continuing this tradition with her family each year.
