About Alex

Alexandra (Alex) Goldstein is an associate attorney at Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C. and is a member of the distinguished Family Law Team.  Alex came to the firm after working with another exceptional family law firm in Colorado.  Alex focuses her practice on family law cases, including complex child custody cases involving allegations of domestic violence and child abuse, full-scope divorce and legal separation cases, and other matters related to domestic relations.  Alex specializes in cases involving the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and has litigated such cases in state and federal court.  Alex is also a Child and Family Investigator (CFI) and provides guidance to Courts in issuing orders concerning allocation of parental responsibility.

During undergrad, Alex knew that she wanted to go to law school, but it wasn’t until she took a course in Family Law that she discovered her true calling of working with families and individuals going through the family court system.  During law school, Alex focused on honing her litigation and trial skills, earning a spot on the Top-10 ranked National Trial Team and served on the board of the Student Trial Lawyer Association.  Through these experiences, Alex developed strong litigation and court room skills.  She placed 1st in a national trial competition and competed in both in-person and virtual trial competitions.  In her first 3 years of practice, Alex used the litigation skills developed in law school in courtrooms in multiple districts through Colorado and in Federal Court.  Alex now brings those same skills to her practice with Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C.  While Alex strives to find new and creative ways to reach a settlement that best serves an individual family, she is able to zealously advocate for her clients in the courtroom when necessary.  Alex is prepared to prioritize the process that best serves each client’s needs.

While in law school, Alex also interned in the Appellate and County Court divisions of the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office where she advocated for the people of the state of Colorado and worked with individuals charged with misdemeanor crimes to reach fair resolutions in their cases.  Alex also served as an intern for the Denver County Juvenile Court where she was able to observe the innerworkings of dependency and neglect cases, adoptions, and juvenile criminal proceedings.  Through these experiences, Alex developed her legal research and writing skills and grew her skills as an advocate in the courtroom.

Originally from Texas, Alex came to Colorado for law school and fell in love with the beauty of the state.  While she has adopted many of the sports teams in Colorado, Alex still enjoys cheering on the San Antonio Spurs.  In her free time, Alex enjoys film photography, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their two fur babies, Vinnie and Dyna.

Clients who have worked with Alex, speak to their trust in her strength as an advocate and as a family law attorney along with her compassion and grace.  She aggressively and passionately represents her clients against situations that would threaten their well-being as individuals and as a family.  Regardless of the situation, rest assured that Alex can handle your case with a high-level of skill and deep care for yours and your family’s needs.
