CCB’s Legacy Highlighted by University of Denver Sturm College of Law

Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C. is honored to be featured in a recent editorial spotlight by the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, highlighting CCB’s legacy, practical legal training, and contributions to the Colorado legal community.

Founded by Gene Ciancio, Ciancio Ciancio Brown has grown from a solo practice into a 23-attorney firm with award-winning attorneys in family law, personal injury, criminal defense, and beyond. Today, the firm is led by Gene Ciancio, his daughter Cynthia Ciancio, and managing shareholder, Loren Brown. Cynthia Ciancio has mentored some of the most respected family law attorneys in Denver, many of whom have gone on to lead the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. In addition, Loren Brown has served as one of the youngest presidents of the Colorado Bar Association and established the President’s Diversity Council.

More than half of CCB’s attorneys are DU Sturm College of Law graduates. This is a distinction the firm wears proudly. The firm has long sought out DU-trained lawyers for their practical, court-ready preparation, and that tradition continues with associates like Banafsheh Lari (JD ’15) and Monica Huber (JD ’25), who began her career at CCB as a student extern before joining as an associate.

As the firm continues to grow, its foundation remains unchanged. It is committed to upholding its core values of compassion, excellence, and community. To read the full feature, visit the University of Denver Sturm College of Law’s website.
