Denver, CO, March 1, 2021– Local litigation law firm, Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C. (CCB), adds trial attorney Daniel A. Wartell to its roster as Partner in the firm.

“I joined CCB due to their team-oriented approach to the practice of law, and to augment the Business and Commercial Litigation Team,” stated Mr. Wartell. For the past two decades, Dan Wartell’s focus has been on handling complex and high-dollar business disputes, fiduciary and financial misconduct cases, and select malpractice and personal injury matters.

Dan is an experienced, creative, and passionate trial lawyer who brings calm, cool-headed device, and intensity to cases and situations that demand a dispassionate, savvy, and fearless advocate. All cases are approached with the same level of care and concern, regardless of whether his client is an individual, small business, or a Fortune 500 company. Most of Dan’s cases are complex, and many of them are “bet the company” type cases holding substantial consequences for his clients.
“I always tell people that the best part of my job is learning about what other people do, how their company operates, and what their goals are. Taking the time to learn about my client’s business, or about their life, allows me to provide goal-oriented advice and a focused strategy. That is what clients ultimately want and expect from their counsel,” stated Wartell. “I love to be an advocate for people and tell their story.”

Mr. Wartell joined CCB to extend the firms interdisciplinary approach to their practice. Loren M. Brown, Managing Shareholder at CCB, explains, “CCB is team-oriented. Our firm’s strength is our pool of skilled attorneys with different backgrounds that are available to help on each other’s cases. As an example, Dan’s strengths in business valuations, financial, and accounting issues will augment our family law team’s work providing even better counsel to our clients, especially those owning businesses.”

Wartell is a 4th generation Coloradoan, raising a 5th generation in his hometown of Denver. He graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. After law school he clerked for Rebecca Love Kourlis of the Colorado Supreme Court. Dan has been recognized for years by multiple peer-reviewed publications including several years in the Top 100 Super Lawyers list for Colorado and 5280 Magazine’s Denver’s Best Lawyers.
